I've changed my mind. Can I exchange or return my product(s) for a refund?

If you have simply changed your mind and you are able to provide a valid receipt, OfficeMax may offer you an exchange or refund provided that the goods:

  • Are in saleable condition
  • Are unused with all original packaging intact
  • Are not subject to the exclusions listed below
  • Are not an eBook or other digital product
  • The exchange or refund is sought within 14 days of purchase.

If you are unable to provide a valid receipt and/or 14 days has passed since the original purchase date, OfficeMax at its absolute discretion reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind purchases. In such cases, OfficeMax may, at its absolute discretion, provide you with an exchange to the current value of the product(s).
OfficeMax is not required to provide you with a copy of your original receipt to facilitate an exchange, refund, insurance or warranty claim.

Please choose carefully when purchasing products with a product code starting with a 5 (school levies - no product provided), 8, 76 and/or 79 (products ordered by OfficeMax specifically for your school), as change of mind returns will not be provided for these goods. In addition, digital products (eBooks and other digital products) cannot be refunded. Notification of this condition was provided at the time of order placement. 

Please also note that school levies (product codes starting with 5) cannot be refunded by OfficeMax.  Please refer to your school should you require a refund for a school levy.

The OfficeMax change of mind returns policy does not exclude or replace your rights under Australian Consumer Law and regulations.
