What is the warranty on BYOD products?

All technology devices approved by your school have a minimum 12 months manufacturer’s warranty.

Our goods also come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you have purchased an iPad with Apple Care Plus protection you can:

  1. Call Apple on 1300 321 456
  2. Take it to an Apple store
  3. Visit the Apple website

If you purchased your device prior to July 2017, you may have additional coverage:

Depending on your schools requirements, you may have also purchased a 1 or 2 additional year Product Protection plan or Accidental Damage Insurance whereby if your device stops working due to electrical or mechanical issues, or is damaged, a loan device can be provided if required whilst yours is being serviced. Once fixed, your device is returned and the loan device collected.
